Eversince I got here in the US I have craved for something familiar. May it be food, television shows, smell (lol) or stores. So it follows that I would want to cook, eat, watch, or go to the stores right? We have been to a number of asian stores that hubby said he is not going to any store except to the one I frequent now  It is okay with me since I do get to buy stuff that I want from that same store. When hubby woke me up this morning to fis him lunch, he told me that our tax rebate is in our account. We did an electronic file with our bank account as the recepient so the rebate was also sent there. We have been waiting for it since we thought that we will be one of the lucky ones in the first batch. We didn't make it then but we did today. I don't know what hubby plans on doing with it but whatever, I will be fine with it. I told him just last week that maybe we can spend it shopoing I don't know though. We might just save it for the rainy days. One thing is sure, I am going to buy my boy a few toys. Time to get rid of some of his old toys. Might as well put that rebate to good use.

Have you ever tried cooking ramen noodles with eggs? Not boiling the eggs first but directly mixing it with the noodles just when the latter is almost cooked. I do this all the time ever since I saw my younger brother did it when we were still in Manila. I kinda like it. Hubby has a different opinon about it though. He actually made face and told me outright that must be nasty  He is silly sometimes knowing that it is okay with him if I stink the house up cooking dried fish or frying shrimp but doesn't like the smell of cooking squid. The idea of putting eggs in ramen noodles is totally repulsive to him. I don't care about his reaction though.
