Eversince I got here in the US I have craved for something familiar. May it be food, television shows, smell (lol) or stores. So it follows that I would want to cook, eat, watch, or go to the stores right? We have been to a number of asian stores that hubby said he is not going to any store except to the one I frequent now

It is okay with me since I do get to buy stuff that I want from that same store. And he never say no when I ask him to drive me anywhere anyway. Except at Dunkin Donuts. When I saw the dunkin' store sign I told him I want to go in there one day and buy me some doughnut. I guess he thought I was just kidding or I was being silly. Aftetall who gets excited over a doughnut store? Well, I am. You see, Dunkin' and I's relationship came a long ways. I was in college when a branch opened in Tacloban. It was very popular then. I would save my allowance and right before I went to the bus terminal to head home I used to buy doughnuts as pasalubong to my parents. They loved it. I have a family who all (except me) have sweet tooth. So imagine what a box of doughnut means to them. Right up to this moment hubby still has to get me to a Dunkin Donut store. Luckily his daughter bought some last Saturday and thought of sharing it with me. I was so happy. It has been a long time since I got a doughnut I longed for. That is why hubby thought I am being silly. I acted like I was handed a miracle

I was just happy that's all. I still have to go to the store though. And I will make him do it. Promise.
